A DQ Video – The Repair Workshops
We are proud to present, the very first instalment in DQ’s new video series, taking our stories off the page and bringing them to life through interactive media.
For this project we’ve teamed up with a very special sponsor, Australian Workstation Manufacturers, and talented Director and Film-maker, Lisa Kappel.
The Repair Workshops is a really inspiring project, dealing with the implications of waste and refuse, and how this can be addressed through simple ingenuity and curiosity.
It was held in Australia for the first time, at Donkey Wheel House in Melbourne earlier this year.
Special thanks to all those who contributed on this project, we’re so pleased to have worked with you on it.
In particular, thanks to Tim and Will, our starring industrial designers – your articulate statements offer us all food for thought on how we can positively impact the environment through simple design practices.
And most importantly to Australian Workstation Manufacturers for your support!

We are really really proud to share with you the news that DQ is an Ozzie Award finalist in the 2011 Eddie and Ozzie Awards.
Over 2,000 entries were received and we’re one of 400 to place on the finalist lists for two categories entered.
